When I first started this blog, my dear friend Leah requested a post on memo boards. More than a month later, I’ve finally rounded up a collection! I’m very visual (not surprising!) and will also forget anything that isn’t in front of my face. Regardless of our short-term memories or lack thereof, most of us really need a place to post notes, inspirations, reminders, and important documents. I’ve gathered a sampling of some of the most stylish ways to display these bits of our lives. My collection seemed to just grow before my eyes, so I’m breaking it down into a series of 3 over the next few days. First we’ll look at memo boards with magnetic and chalk backings, then we’ll look at boards made with natural materials, and finally we’ll round up the all-important accessories…pushpins and magnets to display your things in style! Let’s dive in with the best chalk and magnet boards of the web:

love these – my favorites are the first two. can’t decide how i feel about the cameo one. part of me LOVES it but it’s also a lot! in the right place of someone’s house or apt it could be awesome!
I know, I felt the same way about the cameo. It’s a lot of look but it’s actually a smaller board, 9X11. Also keep in mind that the boards would be covered with your stuff so all of the patterns would be toned down a good bit!

Thanks Bobbi Jo! I love that idea…I’ve never seen a patterned board like that where you can wipe off the writing.
What a great way to use/re-purpose frames you’re not sure what to do with… yes, print that picture you have in mind in that weird size, or make it into a wipe-off writing board! Sweet!
yes!! more about re-using old frames soon :)
