Hello everyone, I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I thought I would share some glimpses of the Christmas decorating I’ve been doing this year. It’s so fun getting into the holiday spirit, and now I have creative roommates and a fab apartment to call my own. Plus, we all really love Christmas. Basically, we can’t stop decking the halls!
My super-talented roomie Sarah made snowflakes out of paper and strung baubles and lights from the loft.

We put up an adorable 4-foot tree and covered it with childhood ornaments.
We had a fancy black and white themed Christmas party last weekend. Inspired by this awesome craft from Canadian House and Home via Poppytalk, we created a chalkboard Christmas tree. I decided it would be fun to use it as a guestbook for the party — people’s signatures became the ornaments.
Finally, I think it’s a fun tradition to get a new ornament every year. This year I just had to get my favorite animal done by one of my favorite designers…hellloooo Jonathan Adler Pig!

How in the world did Sarah do those ornaments? They are gorgeous! The whole apartment looks wonderful — love it, ladies!
Thank you! I have no idea how Sarah made them look so good, I’m going to convince her to share her secrets at least on the blog if not in some sort of craft tutorial party :)
i know! i live with you guys and i keep staring at them trying to figure out what’s what! i could just ask.
love the christmas post!
Yeah, I feel like step 1 for me personally would be “learn how to use scissors better”.
We all want DIY instructions for Sarah’s snowflakes! :)
I’ll ask!! :)
