There’s an Atlanta event going on that I’m really excited to tell you about. The Cathedral Antiques Show is an outreach of The Cathedral of St. Philip. There’s an amazing antiques show running through the end of this weekend, but what I’m most excited about is the Inspiration House. This stunning home on the grounds of the (equally beautiful) cathedral features 21 distinct spaces transformed by talented local designers. You can visit the house until February 10. Learn more and purchase tickets here.
Last week I attended the press preview party. It was so fun to tour the home and speak with the designers. They knocked it out of the park! This is definitely one of the best show houses I have seen–each room is fully realized and rich in detail. I really encourage you to go, and the proceeds support a wonderful cause! I have several friends who designed spaces this year. Catching up with them reminded me what a creative and supportive design community we have in Atlanta. I’m thankful to learn from this group and count them as friends. You should pick up the business cards from your favorite rooms and get to know the faces behind the spaces :) If my words haven’t fully persuaded you to visit, take a look at these teasers…you won’t be able to stand the thought of missing out.
Inviting seating area on the colorful front porch from Ally Kim of From the Right Bank

Amazing wallpaper in the front entry.

The dining room is in the running for my favorite interior space. The color palette is so fresh. Here’s a shot of the table setting.
I loved the ceiling in the kitchen!

Black wallpaper…it totally works.

This pink and blue living room might be my winner…great work by Parker Kennedy.

My girls Sherry and Lori turned a dark and dreary basement into a luxurious, peaceful lounge that’s surprisingly light.
